'Prana Prathistha' of Rudraksha Beads

‘Prana Prathistha’ refers to energizing the Holy beads named Rudraksha before it is worn. For spiritual, mental, and physical benefits, it is important to sanctify and empower the Rudraksha beads and this ceremony is known as ‘Prana Prathistha’.

 

On an auspicious day, a holy priest or Guruji performs the ritual by washing Rudraksha beads with fresh milk, and sacred water and then applying Sandalwood paste on it. This holy ritual is performed in front of Lord Shiva’s idol with the chanting of Mantras.
